Internet/data services continued to drive mobile revenue growth, accounting for 49.64% of total revenue in the third quarter of 2025. According to the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ), the growth is attributed to the growing use of data-hungry applications.
Econet, NetOne, and Telecel contributed to the growth, with Econet leading the charge. The growth in internet/data services revenue is a positive indicator of Zimbabwe’s growing digital economy.

Econet’s internet/data services revenue grew by 10.83% to ZWG 3.61 billion, while NetOne’s revenue increased by 10.20% to ZWG 775.12 million. Telecel’s revenue grew by 10.01% to ZWG 68.35 million.
