NetOne, one of the leading Mobile Network Operators in Zimbabwe, partnered with Zimbabwe’s First Lady and Health Ambassador, Dr. Auxilia Mnangagwa, and Zim Smart Village in launching a Telemedicine Virtual Hospital in Chiweshe over the weekend.

In his address at the launch, NetOne Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) Engineer Raphael Mushanawani expressed NetOne’s continued commitment to partnership and community development.

“On behalf of NetOne Pvt Ltd, I extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you to this momentous occasion, the launch of our telemedicine virtual hospital in partnership with Zim Smart Village. Today, we gather to celebrate a milestone in healthcare innovation and accessibility, made possible by the vision and dedication of Her Excellency, the First Lady of Zimbabwe, Dr. Auxillia Mnangagwa,” said the NetOne GCEO, Engineer Mushanawani.

“Her Excellency’s unwavering commitment to advancing healthcare in our nation has been instrumental in bringing about this transformative initiative. Through her leadership, we are empowered to ensure that no individual or community is left behind in the journey towards accessible and efficient healthcare.

“The launch of this telemedicine virtual hospital marks a significant step forward, demonstrating the power of technology in bridging the digital gap and extending vital healthcare services to even the most remote areas of our country.
“Together, we embark on a journey of progress, leveraging the capabilities of e-health to enhance the quality of life for all Zimbabweans.

In attendance besides the First Lady of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Auxillia Mnangagwa, were Honorable Chris Magomo, Resident Minister of Mashonaland Central, Honorable Dr. Mavetera, Minister of ICTs, Honorable Rwodzi, Minister of Tourism, Honorable Puthi, Deputy Minister of ICTs, and other distinguished guests.
