Speaking after the awards ceremony, Phillip Rambakudzibwa, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the NHS, highlighted the profound significance of the travel expo in repositioning Zimbabwe as a competitive destination.
“Sanganai/Hlanganani/Kumbanayi gives us a platform not just to showcase our capabilities, but to learn, connect, and grow,” said Rambakudzibwa. He further emphasized the impact of the recognition on the company’s future endeavors. “The awards are a welcome recognition, but more importantly, they fuel our commitment to enhancing service delivery at all our ports of entry. We are energized to invest further in innovation and capacity.”
National Handling Services is a key facilitator in the aviation sector, providing essential ground handling services at Zimbabwean airports, which directly impacts the efficiency and quality of experience for both inbound and outbound travelers. Their strong presence and award-winning display at Sanganai reflect a strategic focus on showcasing their capabilities and reinforcing their importance within the tourism value chain.
The awards not only celebrate NHS’s efforts in exhibition and engagement but also solidify its reputation as an indispensable component of the infrastructure supporting Zimbabwe’s growing tourism industry. This achievement, coupled with the CEO’s pledge for continued investment and innovation, is expected to further enhance confidence in the country’s aviation support services and its broader tourism offerings.
