ZTV Now Showing On Kwese!

Zimbabweans buying KWESE TV bouquets will not have to miss (if they do) their local sole broadcaster ZBC’s ZTV as it is going to be found on the platform.

In a statement, Kwese’s local manager Mrs Dorothy Zimuto  said  ZTV1 will be available as required by the laws of the land.

“It is a requirement of Zimbabwean law that every licensed service carries the national broadcaster. Kwese will also carry ZTV1 and any other free channels”, she said.

The Econet media company today announced that customers whose services were disrupted would be given an additional 30 days free services.

Zimuto said following a two week cut off of the service they decided to offer customers who requested for refunds to reconnect.

“This offer also includes customers who requested for refunds during the disruption period, provided they come forward for reconnection of Kwese TV service before 15th of October 2017,” she said.

Currently, as part of a launch offer, all new Kwese TV customers in Zimbabwe enjoy FREE subscriptions for the first month in addition to free installation.

Meanwhile, in what will clearly be a game changer in the industry, Kwese TV has also announced that it will soon introduce a high quality General Entertainment service which will be known as Kwese Free Entertainment, (KFE).

This service will give all Kwese TV customers 5 free channels to enjoy, even when their subscription has lapsed.

“If we sell you a decoder, it is your investment and we believe there is value attached to your decoder which you must enjoy. On our part as Kwese, we attach value to every customer who connect with us, and also recognise that there is value to your decoder.

“For that reason we cannot suspend all services because you have failed or delayed to pay. We give value for the decoder itself, and say thank you for being part of the Kwese family through Kwese Free TV, which is the five permanently free channels.”

The five free channels include Kwese Free Sport which also has top sports like English Premier League, NBA basketball and will be the home of the next FIFA World Cup.

The Kwese Free Entertainment (KFE) platform will also feature a faith channel known as Flow TV, and a news Channel known as Africa News.
