The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) has called upon its clients to be patient as they work flat out to restore prepaid electricity purchases which have been down to allow smooth currency conversion.
In a statement, ZETDC notified its customers that the prepaid electricity purchase system is still unavailable to enable the finalization of the currency conversion.
Posting on X, the ZETDC wrote, ‘’ Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company would like to advise its valued customers that the prepaid electricity purchase system is still unavailable to enable the finalization of the currency conversion’’
ZETDC assured customers that they are working diligently to resolve the issue but no timeline has been provided for when the system will be back up and running.
‘’We apologize for the delay in completing the conversion. Customers will be advised once normal service has been restored’’ read the statement.
