NetOne Sold 10 000 Lines At Agric Show

If you were at the Harare Agricultural Show on Saturday, then you could attest that the most happening place that day was the NetOne stand, powered by heavy tunes from Zifm stereo, thousands could not resist but simply pass by as TechMag.TV was broadcasting the visuals live on Social Network.

As the mobile network increases visibility and marketing techniques, NetOne said that they sold a whopping 10 000 Sim cards during the Harare Agric show week alone.

“A total of over 9 800 sim cards had been confirmed sold by saturday noon as new subscribers either requested number matching or were first time NetOne subcribers, This was mainly driven by the publicity and awareness campaigns we rolled out”

said George Manyaya, The NetOne PR Executive.

NetOne was live simultaneously on all radio stations in Zimbabwe, from their stands, a move that attracted thousands to the brand as they activated serious awareness campaigns to the masses

Another catchy collabo they had was when they had both PowerFM and Radio Zimbabwe under the ZBC stable, broadcast live at once from their stand, driving serious crowds to their stage works.

Thousands clogged the main street towards the NetOne Exhibition Stand as they pressed on to get a bite of the services on offer from the state owned mobile operator.

While some passer-bys could have been simply attracted by heavy tunes from the turn table, hundreds were flowing into the main shop to either inquire more on the services or two buy NetOne

Our online TV Station TechMag.Tv caught up with One subscriber, a Michael Moyo who said that he found new love for NetOne as they have made his calling life much more fun and affordable.

“NetOne ka One. I Only use $5 per month and i’m sorted, i don’t have any hustles to communicate and for the past 4 months I always top up on my pay day and I’m good to go.”
