The country’s second biggest telecommunications company NetOne has revealed plans to introduce a tracking service dubbed One Tracker.
The One Tracker service,a new addition to the NetOne family was being showcased during the 2022 edition and the service is a first all in one package that is tailor made for different tracking services.
Speaking during the ZITF exhibition week,NetOne Head of Marketing and Public Relations Roselyn Chisveto said that the service was the most powerful integrated tracking platform meant to ensure convenience for all services.
“The second aspect of you on tracker is the monitoring of fuel and vehicle tracking.
With our fuel monitor on One Tracker,it allows you to monitor the exact amount of fuel that would have been Fuelled in a truck, generator or any vehicle.
It also allows the monitor the actual consumption from one point to the other as the vehicle is moving,”said Chisveto.
While several tracking softwares focuses on vehicle tracking,,Chisveto added that the One Tracker facility is second to non has it ensures security from fuel fraud having tested it on their own generators and they would soon roll it out to companies that wants to sign up for the service
“With fuel fraud so rampant,One Tracker plug out fuel theft by monitoring if there’s any siphoning or draining from a truck vehicle it generator and as NetOne one we are currently enjoying this srevice on our generators so we are now going to offer it out to transporters who would wants to monitor their fuel to reduce fuel fraud,”she added.
