Axis Solutions and cybersecurity firm KnowBe4 have brought together IT and security leaders from over 50 different organizations to discuss how artificial intelligence is reshaping email security and the fight against cyber threats.

The executive networking event, held at Cresta Lodge Msasa, explored the growing risks posed by phishing attacks and the role of AI-powered cloud email security in strengthening organizational defenses.

Participants represented banking, aviation, government, retail, and manufacturing, reflecting the cross-industry challenge of protecting email systems that remain a key target for cybercriminals.

Email remains the front door for most cyber attacks and the people behind the inbox are the first line of defence.

Discussions highlighted the importance of combining security technology with employee awareness, as attackers increasingly use sophisticated techniques to deceive users and gain access to organizational systems.

The engagement supports efforts to strengthen cybersecurity awareness among businesses as they navigate an evolving threat landscape, where effective protection requires both technological safeguards and informed employees.
