Huawei Zimbabwe has officially closed its mobile phone business amid serious operational viability issues, forcing the international giant to close its terminal business.

The Huawei Zimbabwe country manager, Mr Robert Gonye who effectively terminated his contract before the shutdown has confirmed the developments and stated that he is now looking at advancing his career.
