POTRAZ ICT Research Symposium 2025 to Drive Zimbabwe’s Digital Future

The Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ) will host the ICT Research Symposium 2025 to shape Zimbabwe’s digital transformation agenda, at the Great Zimbabwe Hotel in Masvingo from 14–15 October.

The symposium is set to bring together policymakers, researchers, innovators, industry leaders, and civil society under the theme “Advancing Digital Transformation Through Progressive ICT Research.” Participants will engage on how ICT research can drive inclusive development and position Zimbabwe for a tech-driven future.

According to POTRAZ, this landmark event will explore research-driven solutions for the country’s digital transformation, while creating a level playing field for innovators, academics and policymakers to share knowledge.

Delegates can expect keynote addresses from leading experts, groundbreaking research presentations, panel discussions on regulatory and technological issues, and extensive networking opportunities. The programme also includes engagement with the POTRAZ ICT Research Journal community, fostering deeper collaboration between researchers and industry.

The symposium is designed for policymakers and regulators, ICT researchers and academics, startups and innovators, business leaders, as well as civil society and development partners eager to unlock the potential of digital technologies for national growth.

POTRAZ is organising the event in partnership with Great Zimbabwe University, reinforcing its commitment to nurturing innovation ecosystems and empowering Zimbabwe to navigate the fast-evolving ICT landscape.
