African Tech Company Brings Cloud Computing and Innovation to Zimbabwe

African technology company, ETS Group has expanded its footprint to the country. With a strong emphasis on local talent and innovation, the company aims to enhance the Zimbabwean government’s digital transformation agenda.

ETS Group has partnered with global tech leaders such as Oracle, Microsoft, Hitachi, and Pure Storage to bring cutting-edge technologies to Zimbabwe. However, as CEO Rajesh Naidoo emphasizes, the real value lies in integrating these technologies to address local needs.

A key focus for ETS Group is youth empowerment through graduate trainee programs, in collaboration with local universities. The company plans to hire tech graduates, provide industry training, and certify them in leading technologies, preparing them for the job market.

“We are heavily invested in ensuring that the talent to fix Africa’s problems resides right here — in Africa,” Naidoo said. “From cybersecurity and data analytics to AI and cloud computing — we are bringing these capabilities to Zimbabwe. But most importantly, we are investing in youth empowerment because Africa’s problems will be solved by Africans.”

As ETS Group grows its business in Zimbabwe, it expects to create employment opportunities for young talent. Wallen Mangere, ETS director, said, “We will hire tech graduates, provide industry training, certify them in leading technologies, and prepare them for the job market. As our business grows, so will employment opportunities.”

ETS Group’s expansion signals a growing trend of Africa-led tech solutions tailored to the continent’s unique challenges. With a strong emphasis on local talent and innovation, the company is poised to make a significant impact in Zimbabwe and beyond.
