For 30 years, NetOne has been on Zimbabwean phones. Now it’s putting more into those phones.
To celebrate its anniversary, NetOne has launched 30ForYou – a special data bundle that gives customers 60GB for US$30.
It’s split simply: 30GB anytime data, 30GB off-peak data, for 30 days.
The idea, NetOne says, is to give back.
“30 years deserves more than a thank-you,” the company said. “It deserves more for the journey ahead.”
That “more” looks different for everyone.
A student in Bulawayo gets more access to online lessons.
A vendor in Mbare gets more time to post products and take orders.
A farmer in Marondera gets more weather updates and market prices.
A family in Harare gets more video calls with relatives abroad.
NetOne started in 1995 when connectivity meant a phone call. Today it means opportunity. The company says bridging the digital divide is about making data useful in everyday life – in schools, clinics, farms and businesses.
As part of its 30th anniversary, NetOne is also highlighting work in rural connectivity and digital services that bring government and financial services closer to communities.
US$30. 60GB. 30 days. 30ForYou.
Three decades of connection and a push for more is a step in the right direction by NetOne.
