NetOne will roll out medical outreach programmes in 30 districts targeting 90,000 households as part of its 30th anniversary.

The initiative, under its Health and Care pillar, is in partnership with ZimSmart Villages and includes telemedicine and digital health components.

The company held its Manicaland outreach in Mutasa District last week, attended by Defence Minister Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri.

NetOne said the outreach will average 3,000 households per district and is aligned to Vision 2030, NDS2 and SDGs 3, 10 and 17.

Spokesperson Ernest Magadzire said “the company wants to reframe connectivity as access to essential services.”

ZimSmart Villages COO Tawanda Njerere said “the partnership uses connectivity to bridge rural communities and health professionals.”
