Joining the European Union, countries like UK, Lebanon and closer to home Uganda is the Zimbabwean Parliament having its own mobile application.

The application developed by Webdev serves the public a great deal of information on many parliamentary issues thus showing how far the lengths the nation is going striving towards democracy.

One doesn’t need to go to the parliament to get the hansard as it is just a tap away.

In a statement, the local Parliament said this application enables users to keep track of latest Parliament news.

Found on all mobile store platforms is the application which is receiving rave reviews on Google Playstore. “The app is available for free on Google Play Store or Apple Store. The app is compatible with android, apple and windows phones.

“Download you Parliament APP for Free and receive your Hansard and other Parliament documents on the go.,” said the Parliament

On the Hansard, you get to know the action in Parliament as it happened. The developers are also doing a great job in updating the Hansard.

Should you be one of those who don’t know his or her member of parliament, this application has you covered as it contains a list of members of parliament.

Acts and Bills are also found on the bill. With the instatement of Patrick Chinamasa onto the Ministry of Cyber Security, Threat Detection and Mitigation, we hope the much anticipated Computer Crime and Cyber Security bill will be availed on the app as others.

How to navigate through the application.

Its all on the drop down menu button located at the Top Left corner on the screen. Tapping that menue button will give you a list of sections that one wishes to see. From Acts and Bills,Members of Parliament, Publicatiopns, , Live Recordings, a Live Blog, Committee reports and Bill Status, one can get to know whats happening in the August House.

Or better yet, one can type on the search icon on the home screen to find out what he or she wants.

“I loved the concept so I had to download it. Kept crashing so I send a report. Hope it is developed further so I can use it. I wanna read all the Hansard’s so please fix it up,” read a review on Google Play Store.
