Minister of Information Communication Technology graced the 1,500-kilometre-long BCS Zimbabwe Optic Fibre

Network Project yesterday in Somabula.

During the launch she said,” This state-of-the-art network is poised to connect communities, businesses, and government entities within a seamless digital ecosystem. It is set to revolutionize internet connectivity in Zimbabwe, offering tangible benefits to local internet users by enhancing speed, reliability, and accessibility.

Zimbabwe National Development
Under the Infrastructure, Utilities, and Digital Economy Pillar of the National Development Strategy (NDS1), Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) are recognized as key enablers of economic development. Their integration across all national development strategies is crucial to achieve universal access by 2030″.
