Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority Holdings once again illuminated the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show (ZAS) 2025 stage, powering its way to two prestigious accolades at the 2025 edition. The national power utility won the overall best stand award as well as the best exhibitor in the energy sector award
ZAS 2025, which ran from August 25th to 30th, under the theme “Building Bridges: Connecting Agriculture, Industry and Community.”
Speaking exclusively to TechnoMag, Acting CEO Mr. Cletus Nyachohwe reaffirmed the company’s commitment to universal access to power.

Zesa had massive displays, with a smart city concept which was developed by students from a local school called Total Transformation from Snake Park. The smart city concept had a captivating display with the smart city solutions concept that resonates with Vision 2030. The concept also includes scaling up renewable energy, with emphasis on both large and small hydropower as well as solar projects.
Beyond the awards, ZESA’s recognition underscores the company’s role as a cornerstone of Zimbabwe’s economic growth. By highlighting energy’s place in agriculture and industrial development, ZESA continues to position itself as not just a utility but a driver of national progress.
This victory adds to a strong winning streak by ZESA. In 2023, ZESA won the Overall Best Exhibition Award and the Best in the Parastatals Category. The following year, in 2024, it claimed the title of Best Overall Winner in the Energy Sector. Each year, ZESA’s interactive stands have showcased its pivotal role in transforming Zimbabwe’s energy landscape, drawing thousands of showgoers eager to understand the future of electricity in the country.
