Zimbabwe’s State owned converged telecommunications operator and giant, TelOne will commision 10 base stations in Chitungwiza tomorrow.Of the 10 , ICT Minister Dr Jenfan Muswere will tour and unveil 3 LTE base stations in the town.This move goes as they consolidate their network coverage in and around Zimbabwe especially on the mobile GSM technology.

This technology is going to increase their subscriber base ahead of the mobile data penetration scramble of subscribers.

This means the Telecommunications giant has taken digital transformation to dizzy
heights.

By introducing fresh and exciting trends in wireless communication, TelOne steadily closes the digital divide.

By welcoming LTE, TelOne has vowed Long Term Evolution , and an unheard of wireless network solution for Chitungwiza.

In line with its digital transformation drive,
TelOne are now on 10 base stations providing 100% coverage,
faster network,
and have the capacity to connect more than six thousand households to faster connectivity.

Chitungwiza now enjoys smart homes, eLearning, home offices for virtual workstations, home entertainment, social networking, and an online lifestyle
from anywhere, anytime.

On the digital drive
TelOne has deployed more Fibre network to connect business and the small to medium enterprises.The local unparalleled State giant has unvailed superfast networks and moved from conventional landlines to Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP).

The new VOIP capability on Blaze LTE will be accessed by simply changing the landline prefix number from 024 to 088.
