Zimbabwe’s first mobile network operator is marking a major milestone. NetOne is celebrating 30 Years of Connecting Zimbabwe in 2026, with nationwide activities and new data offers for subscribers.
The orange-themed campaign, running under the banner “NetOne @30”, highlights the company’s journey since 1996 when it launched as the country’s pioneer mobile service provider.
Under their data menu accessed by dialing *379#, NetOne is currently offering extra data 60g for $30 promotion, pumping up their data offering.
NETONE @30 offers 60GB or 30 GB FOR $30 + 30GB FREE
Under the “GET 100% MORE” offer, subscribers can BUY 30GB FOR $30 & GET 30GB FREE.
That means 60GB total data for the price of 30GB — aimed at families, students, and content lovers who stream, game, and stay connected.
WHAT’S NEXT FOR NETONE
Officials say the 30th anniversary is not just about looking back. The focus for the next decade will be on expanding network coverage, improving data speeds, and driving digital inclusion under Vision 2030.
With mobile penetration and data demand continuing to rise, NetOne says it remains committed to affordable connectivity for all Zimbabweans, from urban centers to rural communities.
As the orange network turns 30, the message is clear: three decades in, and still connecting the nation.
