Fastjet has announced the introduction of a new morning flight service between Johannesburg and Harare, set to commence on September 29, 2025. The new flight aims to enhance connectivity and flexibility for business travelers, offering an additional option alongside existing afternoon and evening flights.
The new schedule will see flights departing Johannesburg at 6:55 AM, arriving in Harare at 8:25 AM. Business travelers will now have the opportunity to conduct meetings in Harare and return to Johannesburg the same evening, with a flight leaving Harare at 7:00 PM and arriving back in Johannesburg at 8:20 PM.

“This service is designed with the business traveler in mind,” said a Fastjet Zimbabwe Chief Commercial officer Vivian Ruwuya. “We are excited to offer what we call ‘breakfast in Harare and dinner in Johannesburg.’ This new frequency adds to our commitment to providing more connectivity and flexibility for our customers.”
Currently, Fastjet operates flights between Johannesburg and Harare primarily in the afternoons and evenings. The introduction of the morning flight is expected to cater to the growing demand for more convenient travel options, particularly for those needing to attend meetings or events in Harare without the need for overnight stays.
