The announcement has sparked widespread anticipation among subscribers eager for fresh channel additions and restructured bouquet options.
Currently, DStv Zimbabwe operates six core packages: Lite, Access, Family, Compact, Compact Plus, and Premium.
While MultiChoice has not yet disclosed the full details of the Zimbabwean rollout, the teaser hints at channel realignments and new packages tailored to improve viewer access to premium content.
The move follows a major structural shake-up by DStv South Africa on September 17, 2026. In the South African market, MultiChoice phased out legacy tiers including Access, Family, Compact, and Compact Plus replacing them with streamlined options such as Starter, Select, a dedicated Movies and Series plan, and a standalone Sports tier priced at R399 per month.
The Zimbabwean market is most likely to follow a similar trajectory.
