NetOne took its clean-up drive nationwide this Friday 4 September 2026, mobilising teams in Harare, Masvingo, Mutare, and Chitungwiza alongside ICT partners ZARnet, TelOne, Zimpost and POTRAZ.

Standing in for Ernest Magadzire, Acting PR Manager Thamsanqa Luphahla said the drive honours President Mnangagwa’s vision for a cleaner Zimbabwe and supports NDS2 and Vision 2030.

“This is not a Harare affair; it is a Zimbabwe affair,” Luphahla said. “Sustainability is not a project; it is a mindset.”

Since 2021, NetOne has participated in the monthly National Clean-Up Day every first Friday. Activities included litter collection, waste sorting, and community education with EMA and local councils.

NetOne reaffirmed that environmental responsibility and digital connectivity must grow together for a prosperous Zimbabwe.
