This year’s Zimbabwe Agricultural Show (ZAS) is running under the theme: “Powering Growth: Where Agriculture, Technology and Commerce Converge.”

The theme sets the tone for a week of exhibitions, conferences and deals aimed at linking farmers to markets, finance and digital tools.

From drone spraying and biogas to mobile banking, e-commerce platforms and smart irrigation, exhibitors are showing how technology is reshaping the farm.

ZAS CEO Rufaro Gunundu said the theme was deliberate.
“We want to show that the future of agriculture is not just about tillage. It’s about data, connectivity, value addition and trade,” he said.

Other attractions include the first-ever ostrich display in ZAS history and pavilions for youth in agribusiness.

With 640 exhibitors and thousands expected to attend, ZAS 2026 is positioning itself as the place where Zimbabwe’s rural economy meets global innovation.
