“We Go the Extra Mile.”
That is the message Liquid Intelligent Technologies Zimbabwe drove home as it marked Customer Service Week 2026 with the launch of its Customer Service Charter today at its headquarters in Harare.
Vice President and CEO of Liquid Intelligent Technologies Zimbabwe, Lorreta Songola.said the theme, adopted from the global Customer Service Week theme “The Extra Mile,” was deliberately chosen to signal a cultural shift.
“This week presents us with an opportunity to celebrate the contribution each of our team members makes to the experiences of our customers,” she said as she addressed staff during the launch event at Liquid Zimbabwe’s offices in Harare.
“We have embraced the theme and internalised it by declaring that ; ‘We Go the Extra Mile’.
For us, this is not just a theme for one week.

It is a commitment to go over and above when it comes to customer service. It’s a commitment to take ownership and always be looking for ways to make every customer interaction better.”
Songola paid tribute to Liquid staff across departments, saying they make Liquid what it is.
“To all our teams, thank you. The work you do matters. Together, let us continue to make service excellence a way of life,” she said.
She said launching the organisation’s charter during Customer Service Week was symbolic, built on the recognition that exceptional service is built daily by people, not posters.
The event also included a regulatory perspective from Vimbayi Nyikadzino, Head of Legal and Stakeholder Relations, who linked customer experience to compliance and trust.
The company, which provides fibre, cloud, cyber security and enterprise services across Zimbabwe, said the Charter will anchor its next phase of growth.
