TelOne Graduates 701 Students, Empowering the Future of Technology and Business

TelOne Centre for Learning proudly marked a significant milestone, graduating 701 students across a range of specialized programs aimed at equipping them with skills for the ever-evolving technological landscape. The institution, renowned for its focus on digital transformation and innovation, continues to cement its role as a leader in technical and business education in Zimbabwe.

The 701 graduates were drawn from various programs designed to meet the demands of the digital economy. The Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering led the numbers with 240 graduates, while the Bachelor of Engineering Honours program saw 27 students earn their qualifications. Other notable achievements included 120 graduates in Software Engineering, 76 in Computer Networking, and 51 in Data Science.

In emerging fields, the Diploma in Cyber Security had 5 graduates, reflecting a growing need for expertise in safeguarding digital infrastructure. Business-focused programs such as the Diploma in Business Analytics (29 graduates) and Diploma in Financial Engineering (16 graduates) highlighted the Centre’s commitment to integrating technology with business acumen. Digital Marketing proved to be one of the most popular programs, with 119 graduates, 73% of whom were women, showcasing a significant stride toward gender balance in technology-related fields.

Gender inclusivity was also notable in other programs, with the Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics achieving a perfect 50/50 male-to-female ratio. Programs such as Financial Engineering and Data Science also recorded substantial female representation, reflecting the institution’s focus on fostering diversity in traditionally male-dominated fields.

TelOne celebrated the exceptional achievements of several outstanding students who set themselves apart through hard work, innovation, and academic excellence. These individuals are poised to make significant contributions to Zimbabwe’s technological and economic landscape.

The graduation event was not only a celebration of individual success but also a testament to TelOne’s commitment to developing a skilled workforce capable of driving innovation and progress in the country.
