Zimpost in collaboration with NicozDiamond Insurance Limited has officially launched three remarkable promotions.
The promotions include ‘Mr—Pace Marathon’,’ Insure, License and Win promotion’, and ‘Staff Promotion. The three are aimed at rewarding the employees and the customers.
The first post-insurance is going to run from April to October 2024 with the grand draw set for November and it will be done at regional levels.
Winners at the regional level will walk away with USD 1.000, while the second and third winners will receive USD 800, with the best supporter getting USD 500.
Zimpost Postmaster General Maxwell Chitendani said, “The promotions help to improve the customer base and to have bigger and better promotions.
Under the Post Insurance Athletics Club, 250 participated in 2023 and in 2024 they target about 500 participants in the marathon. The marathon is to be held on 18 May 2024 at the National Sports Stadium. The club helps to engage with the community and gives scholarships locally and abroad.
Global Risk Underwriting Manager Muvengwa Marumahoko said, “The brand spread to about 60% to 70% through the Post Insurance. This indicates the media is doing great”.
In 2023 they raised 26 billion under the Post Insurance, 172.000 vehicles in Zimbabwe, and a 19% decline in the number of licenses. During 2024 they managed to do two promotions, one at ZITF and the other one at the agricultural show, and the third promotion was the vehicle handed over today to Wilson Murawa.
The third edition of 2024 runs under the theme of mental wellness which is to be raised through sport. The aim is to produce the top 100 in the country and to end drug and substance abuse in the community. The winners will get cash prizes and T-shirts.
