Zimbojam Wins NAMA Outstanding Online Media Award.

Zimbojam, One of Zimbabwe’s online entertainment website walked away with a prestigious award at the National Arts Merit Award (NAMA) 2014, on Saturday, held in Bulawayo at the Rainbow Hotel.

The Nama Awards, are Zimbabwe`s biggest awards so far recognizing the best of the best of Zimbabwean artists across all sectors from Artists, authors, film makers/producers ,musicians to mention but a few.

The online media company was slated in the outstanding online media category which it contested with Writers International Network (WIN) and Panorama scooping the prestigious national award.

Zimbojam is one of Zimbabwe’s arts and entertainment online media which was started in November 2008, two years down the line it had already made a name in the Zimbabwean art and entertainment market when it scooped the outstanding online arts publisher award in 2010.

The online media pressed on with their fine form when again they won the hearts of the judges, bagged the outstanding arts website award in 2013 Nama Awards.

Their social networking platforms speak volumes of them as they run a Facebook page which they trades as The Zimbo Jam with more than 32 000 likes and 10 000 followers on twitter which they trend with their twitter handle @zimbojam.

They have got an up and running with the country’s award-winning lifestyle, arts & culture website (www.zimbojam.com). The site receives frequent updates to keep their followers with latest and fresh news in the arts and entertainment industry.

Unfortunately, for one of the leading entertaining blog in the country, we would have expected much in pictures from them or short video clips to quench our thirst of the loudly promoted event.

They also have not shared with us their own moment while they lifted the prestigious trophy but rather only shared Jah prayzah`s photo, the man of the moment.
