Zimbabwe Celebrates Girls In ICT

Zimbabwean women in technology are  gathered here in Plumtree for the belated international Girls In ICT which kickstarted on 1 June, at Usher Institute, Girls High, in Matabeleland South.

Influential females in tech were gathered  to share their success stories and journey to ICT at an event which was attended by thousands of high school students, whom mostly as[ire to follow a career path in ICT.

Africom CEO, Rudo Mudavanhu, was the guest of honor who spoke profoundly on her journey to ICT and how she was challenged to take on the industry which is largely perceived to be male dominated.
