TelOne's Self Service Portal Facing Challenges.

Zimbabwe’s state owned fixed telephone company TelOne’s clients are having a torrid time paying up their subscriptions via the Self Service portal,TechnoMag has learnt.

It very easy to suspect that Ecocash may be mulling pulling out as a payment  system, the same move they did  against DStv , but of course this remains nothing more but a coincidental matter which has nothing to do with the separate instances.
It is one of those bad moments when one is loyal to a brand that when one decides to pay up he or she cannot proceed to do so.

While its a long lovely holiday, it only goes with  the convenience of remote or online payments and when this system starts to give you some hiccups, its unnecessary inconvenience to spoil the festive mood.

The company’s clients have been finding it hard to pay up their subscriptions hence resorting to the Facebook page making their honest reviews expressing detest for the service.

In a conversation between the source and TelOne shown to TechnoMag, the source was told that the service was down.
“Good evening. Unfortunately the self service portal is down at the moment.

The technical support team is working on restoring it. We apologize for the inconvenience caused,” said a TelOne rep.

“We cannot recharge it from here also because the entire system is down unfortunately,” added the fixed telecom operator.
The source would not be the only one in disgruntlement with dozens publicly posting their reviews on TelOne’s Facebook Page.
