Vodacom South Africa has appointed Zimbabwean National Sitho Mdlalose às its New Managing Director.
He is set to replace Indian Balesh Sharma on 1 July.
Since August 2021, Mdlalose has been the managing director of Vodacom Tanzania.
He is a qualified chartered accountant and Harvard Business School Senior Executive Programme graduate.
Mdlalose is a business leader with over 20 years of experience in finance, consulting and management, 13 of which were in telecoms across emerging and developing markets.
He worked at Vodafone for over six years prior to joining Vodacom.
