TelOne Responds To ZOL Promo


In what looks like a direct response to the massive  ZOL promotion, TelOne have just doubled their previous talk, surf and win promotion  as the battle for data customers escalate in Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe Online (ZOL), an Internet Service Provider and a subsidiary of Liquid Telecom recently paid for a full front page in the Sunday Mail to market their promotion, “Win a dream Holiday for 4 to London, plus 2 fantastic trips to Sun city.”

TelOne is kind of responding with a promotion offering, ‘All expenses paid trip on MSC Cruise with spending money, Trip to Kariba for 2 plus spending money’. Besides the sponsored trips, TelOne added 2 Nissan NP200, household, school fees and grocery vouchers to outcompete the ZOL and win

TelOne has announced its yearly Talk, Surf and Win promotion; the promotion which kick started on the 2nd of November 2014 will run until the 30th of January 2015. The promotion is a bid to reward their committed clients across the country. The rewards are dependable on the usage of TelOne services and products, from voice and data.

This time the telecom giant has made the promotion bigger, better and much more exciting as more products are up for grabs. This time the promo has been bundled with what they termed ‘Promotional Specials’.

In this category of promotion, customers who are paid up on their voice bills can buy a cordless handset at a discounted price of 25%, new ADSL customers will see themselves grabbing free modem and also free landline installation for newcomers.

The beauty of this promo is its inclusiveness, new and old clients are accommodated. The entry requisites for new customers is merely signing up for any ADSL package and voice service and you are in, whilst for the existing ones it’s an automatic entry, but only to those who pay for any TelOne service.

Those that are committed in paying TelOne services stand a chance for both regional and grand draw. The TelOne team has also created a special category for customers who pay for their ADSL for 3 consecutive months during the promo, under this category, a special draw will be held where clients stand a chance to win various prizes.

Last year, the promotion had only 1 grand price of a spranky Chevrolet which went to Mr Greater Sibanda, a gentleman from Gweru. Interestingly, last year’s promotion saw Matabeleland and Midlands regions dominating the winners’ lists.
