TelOne raises the bar – Launches Mobile App & re-brands website

TelOne, Zimbabwe’s biggest fixed telecommunications service provider has today dished a gold iced cake to the nation with a redefined client experience by introducing a new refreshed Website and Mobile App. From this moment onwards, if you hit, you be ushered into a different world with the newly designed website interface spiced with unique features.

The new website has been artistically designed to give focus on the client needs aided by convenient services such as online payments and free brochures of TelOne’s services on offer.

Also loaded on the new look website is free information browsing on TelOne’s products and services. These include Wi-Fi Hotspot Map that will give you locations of the operator’s nearest hotspot, allowing you the convenience of using the Internet spot closest to you.

The most exciting feature on the Website was the TelOne Live Chat which instantly gives customers a direct interface and interaction with the TelOne team for inquiries and querying the team on technical issues in real-time. The other interactive features added on the site included the operator’s social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and Whatsapp.

To keep up with the battle for relevance, TelOne launched a very handy and the most user friendly mobile app l haven’t seen in the local industry for quite a while. The TelOne mobile app is available for downloading on both the Google Play Store and App Store. The app offers self-care services to all android and apple’s IOS users, giving you the ultimate TelOne experience.

To test the relevance and efficiency of the mobile app, l personally carried out an ADSL monthly subscription purchase where l was able to recharge my $25 monthly bill in less that 13 seconds as shown in the below screen-shots below:



The captions shows TelOne’s user friendly mobile app interface and a conformation text message l received soon after paying my bill via the app.


It is also on this Mobile App that every customer will get the latest news on promotions and TelOne’s new products. Also interacted on the mobile app is the Wi-Fi hotspot locator plus access to the TelOne Live Chat which is available 24 hours a day.

Giving her remarks during the launch, Mrs Chipo Mutasa the TelOne MD said they were pursuing the parastatal’s dream of bringing the best services to its customers using the US$98 million loan facility to deliver cutting edge technology products & services. Her managerial team also took the stage to clearly outline TelOne’s ambitions to conquer Zimbabwe’s telecommunications sector. ‘Please rethink TelOne!!” was the motto of the event. Mrs Mutasa went on to further promise the audience that a lot of surprise packages are still to come from TelOne and the nation must continue to watch the space in the coming months.
