Telecel Introduces Mona’s Miniters With 30min Talk Time

Telecel Zimbabwe has given its loyal customers 30 free call minutes.The Telecommunications giant has only availed them every morning between 6am and 8am.

In a text message to all it’s customers the latest message as of 18 Feb 2022 said, “Enjoy FREE 30 mins Telecel to Telecel talk-time between 6am to 8am everyday on Telecel Go.Ts and C’s Apply.”

Telecel’s loyalty program, is something that has never been seen before. The countries smallest mobile network operator (MNO) has done well giving it’s most loyal customers 30 free minutes in a promotion called MaMinutes eMonaz.

Earlier texts to every mobile with a Telecel Line when the promotion began went like:
“To our loyal subscribers, you will be awarded 30 minutes free Telecel to Telecel voice calls in the next coming days. Hurry-up and get calling for free, so Go ahead and tell someone with your MaMinutes eMonaz! T&C’s apply.”

Telecel’s Chief Executive Officer, Angeline Vere, said this period is for thanking customers who have stuck with the mobile network operator.

“In this month of showing each other love and kindness, we give you 30 minutes free Telecel to Telecel
voice calls. Whether you want to make a business call, talk to family or just for the sake of calling, Telecel gives you 30 minutes free talk time.”

The terms and conditions are that Telecel subscribers will be awarded 30 on-net minutes (Telecel-to-Telecel) every day from the 12th of February 2022 to the 22nd of February 2022. Minutes will be available between 6 am and 8 am every day. Only prepaid customers are the beneficiaries of this program and the MaMinutes eMonaz will not accumulate. This means if you don’t use them, you’ll lose them.

Subscribers believe it’s an impressive move by by Telecel, 30 minutes is a lot to just give away daily for free even if they are just on-net calls. Many imagine that this will also be targeted at attracting new subscribers, it will be interesting to see if it works in bringing new customers.

Meanwhile Telecel recently came up with
Telecel’s ZWL$400 Megaboost which is pound for pound the best budget bundle in Zimbabwe.

Other subscribers added their thoughts on “Telecel is giving loyal customers 30 free call minutes” saying
‘Enticing indeed,”

One added, “These freebies ndozviirikuitadzisa to capitalize and offer 3G network not to talk of 4G, were will it get the money when giving out a whole half an hour kkkkkk . Jokes aside its enticing indeed. Those loyal telecel deserve it, after going for a week of no service.”

Telecel network had been down for days and hence Monas free minutes press release comes in handy to make up for the lost ground.
