By Telecel Zimbabwe has halted payment of DStv subscriptions through its mobile money platform Telecash due to unspecified reasons.
The move comes barely two months after Econet suspended DSTV subscriptions in what was assumed as a strategy to pave way for payments using their Ecocash Rand Wallet product.
Telecash notified its subscribers via a broadcast message that the stoppage of DStv payments was effective tomorrow the 28th of February 2017 until further notice.

Dear Customer
Due to factors beyond our control, DSTV payments on Telecash will cease on 28 February 2017 till further notice. All other services remain available.
