Steward (TN Bank): Wants Head Of e-Banking

To successfully craft business strategies for the Bank’s electronic banking channels, oversee the implementation of the same, direct initiatives as the prime leader of the Division. The candidate will act as the primary business custodian for all electronic channels, redistributing customer traffic to effective low cost alternatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CEO, developing and implementing the overall country strategy for the e-Banking Division.
Crafting a streamlined strategy across electronic retail banking channels.
Scoping and identifying all potential e-banking customers for purposes of increasing market share and penetration.
Formulating strategy on new product functionalities and recommending change to existing functionalities across the e-banking channel.
Guiding and overseeing the drafting and approval process of documentation for all e-banking
Driving usage, profitability and growth of e-Banking
Formulating budget proposals for the Division
Coordinating, mentoring, developing, driving and supervising Divisional staff
Relating to cross-functional divisions and units within the business

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in a commercial field and Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Professional qualifications in a banking related field;
Plus 12 years’ experience in banking at senior management level with exposure in banking
applications, technology and management
Plus 8 years’ experience and expertise in electronic payment systems development
Knowledge in mobile banking, retail banking products, guidelines regulations and compliance
Operational skills with expertise in mobile banking systems and e-channels
Leadership, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Project, people and change management skills
Excellent knowledge of the Zimbabwean financial services industry and the country’s economic demographics
