THE long awaited Steward Bank’s ‘Simudza Stand’ and ‘Simudza Bakkie’ Grand Draw saw at least 11 clients and one agent walk away with prizes ranging from residential stands to vehicles.
The eventful grand draw was awarding loyal iSave Account holders for doing transactions with the bank.

Juwawo Zhuwau Makhuvila was awarded the much coveted grand prize winner of a residential stand worth $10 000.
Three lucky winners were given monthly consolation prizes for the months September to November 2016 by the Econet banking unit.
Worth $1 000 per prize were Redan Gas Appliances and home power stations.
For the month of September, Maxson Mungade and Peter Chikumba got the Redan Gas Appliances and solar power station respectively while Batsirai Mhembere got the $3 000 home power station.
Francis Chirunga got the $3000 solar station prize while Walter Sibiya and Portia Matsoka got the $1 000 prizes for October.
Cecelia Zera and Norman Tinarwo got the Redan and $1 000 solar station prizes with Elias Chigudu walking away with the mega solar station worth $3 000.
The elated Weph’s chief executive Wellington Mutyanda had tears of joy upon winning the prize.
“I am very happy for winning this prize. I want to thank God for this opportunity that I got to provide services on behalf of Steward. I also want to thank the customer and staff for their commitment and support. I dedicate this award to them,” he said.
Steward’s divisional head for banking and commercial services Zvichapera Katiyo said they have upped their game to drive inclusivity for the people of Zimbabwe.
“Our 3 000 agents nationwide can offer banking services to non Steward and Steward account holders as part of our universal banking strategy,” he said.
“We want to drive inclusivity for the nation as we share our infrastructure with other banks.”
Entertainment was provided by the bank’s brand ambassador Mudiwa Hood, Cynthia Mare and Andy Muridzo.
