Reprieve for WhatsApp Users

WhatsApp users with Android version 2.3 devices have been given a three-year grace period as the application will continue running in these phones until 2020.

The Facebook owned company also gave Blackberry devices until the end of this year to cut support of the application. WhatsApp had announced it would pull the plug off Blackberry OS this month end after stating the application would be cut off in December last year.
