It was fun filled at OK Mart as Powertel launched their Market Impact ambassadors responsible for weekend activations. The leading converged telecoms also took an opportunity to launch their instore shop at OK Mart which can serve all Powertel services.
In an interview with media the Powertel Marketing Manager Prosper Mutswiri expressed the company’s excitement on the strategy which he summarised as getting closer to the customer. Our customers now demands convenience and we have relooked at ways of getting closer to them and this is one of them. We will be going around the country connecting our customers to Powerconnect univoice and all other services”
The recently awarded Investor of the year winner was also connecting customers to their disruptive voice service which buries the challenge of device limitation that most CDMA operators face. The event which was championed by the Commercial Director Mr Willard Nyagwande anchored by his lieutenant Lead Marketing for the company Prosper Mutswiri saw all managers and the selected brand ambassadors interacting with customers on this fun filled day.
Most of the customers we spoke to expressed appreciation to Powertel’s marketing strategy of getting closer to them in unique and interacting manner. “So many are times when we only interact with these operators through newspaper but we don’t get to opportunity to really express our selves but thanks to Powertel’s initiative” Mr Mutswiri took time to thank their customers for their unwavering support in 2016 and promised more relevant services for 2017 going forward.
