Zimbabwe’s state owned mobile network operator NetOne has unveiled the Warriors SMS promotion which affords its customers an opportunity to win amazing prizes such as tickets to the AFCON 2017 in Gabon.
At least 10 tickets are up for grabs for customers who nail questions correctly and send the answers to the short code 34000.

Speaking to TechnoMag after the unveiling of NetOne’s sponsorship package of $250 000 to the national men’s soccer team, the Warriors, the company’s acting chief operating officer Mr Clever Isaya said the SMS platform is cheap and meant to support the warriors.
He also said the promotion starts today while ending on February 15.
“The promotion is an SMS promotion where we are basically giving our customers an opportunity to send the correct answer to questions we will be asking weekly to the short code 34000 and stand a chance to win a lot of prizes that we will be giving away,” he said Isaya.
“All our customers have to do is to participate in the promotion. The cost very is affordable, each SMS costs just 15c.”
Isaya also said they will be giving away consolation prizes such as trendy One Fusion airtime, 1 000 Warriors Replica jerseys, 100 4G LTE ready tablets.
The selection criteria for the winners will be random.
“The selection will be random. We will put all the respondents in one pot we will pick out the lucky winner,” he said.
“We are going to have four draws. the first draw will be on January 7 20107, the second draw on 18 January , 28 January and 6 February.
“The first draw we will give away 3 tickets for any lucky winners to have an opportunity to attend the Zimbabwe preliminary matches then there will be tickets for the semi final and two for the final,” he said.
NetOne has been sponsoring the Warriors throughout their 2017 AFCON qualifying campaign and has this time thrown its weight behind the national soccer team by availing them funds to the tune of $250 000.
The company has a well documented history of supporting local football from clubs to both the Warriors and the Mighty Warriors through projects such as One Wallet Cup
