Zimbabwe’s Telecommunications giant, NetOne today Mobilized President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s 1st Friday Monthly National Clean Up Exercise In Magwegwe, Bulawayo.
In observance of the 1st Friday of each calendar month, National Clean Up Campaign as declared by His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, the state owned mobile network operator , NetOne did not disappoint today mobilizing a clean up exercise in Magwegwe, one of the oldest suburbs in the City of Kings.
TechnoMag was on the ground in Magwegwe in a bid to ensure a clean and safe environment for all, and as part of NetOne’s CSR pillar, HealthCare, management and staff accompanied by EMA, the Resident Minister of Bulawayo Metropolitan Province Hon. Judith Ncube, the Zimbabwe Defense Forces, Zimbabwe Republic Police and the Ministry of Environment, among other key stakeholders took the lead working together to curb the problems arising from dumped waste.
President Mnangagwa has called upon every individual to equally honour this declaration to work together as a nation protecting the environment as the government is moving to ensure the country has sustainable environment management and waste disposal systems.
The notion behind is for every citizen to get together and clean up the environment, coupled with recycling and reusing. This will go a long way in ensuring that we maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment.
