President Robert Gabriel Mugabe officially opened the Dangamvura, Community Information Centre (CICs) in Mutare over the weekend, making it the 80th new Centre in Zimbabwe under the program, since the Murombedzi centre, Where 100 Laptops were given to local schools.
The government remained bullish stating that 90 more are set to be opened, as they bring information communication technology to the less privileged community in Zimbabwe. Addressing delegates at the event, President Mugabe thanked Potraz for funding the project and advocated for continuous maintenance of these CIC.

I would like to pass my personal appreciation to Potraz and Zimpost for the sterling job since we started the program, they have not stopped, we said every community should have these facilities.
This is a tremendous assistance and has enabled our youths to succeed and allowing us to reach out to them.

He also acknowledged the minister of ICT Postal and courier services, Hon Supa Mandiwanzira for the projects they ran.
Addressing the same congregation, Supa said some people may take for granted such a move, but they do not appreciate that some of these rural folks have never seen a computer or communicated online, hence this project was of greater importanc, deserving the president to connect these communities.
The Schools which were given the laptops, 20 each were Nyamauru, Sheni,Rujeko, Dangamvura ChiruvaKamwe.
