The on-going Zimbabwe International Trade Fair 2014 currently happening in Zimbabwe`s second biggest city Bulawayo has faced a Luke-warm response on its first two days as there is a general low to mild attendance.
Comparing to other years, this is usually the biggest trade international event to hit Zimbabwe where both local business and international guests throng the venue to exchange business value and exhibit their products to the populace.

However Zimbabwe technological companies have come out strong in full force with state of the art display stands , matching up to the standards of the international exhibition forum with most of the players showing up except a few traditional giant ISPs who completely shunned the event.
Africom, one of the aggressively marketed Internet Access Provider in Zimbabwe, has pitched up a uniquely, exquisite stand, far from their traditional standards as they push their VoiP product Guroo, an application that still has potential to revolutionise communication from Africa though the uptake is stil mild.
Besides their popular guroo product, they had their corporate products exhibition ,mainly their fibre, wimax, vsat plus with consumer products like dongles, cdma phones, wimax and other mobile services devices for calling services, productivity solutions and business applications
Telone stand arguably could be one of the most recherché stands. Lavishly laid out, the state owned enterprise is aggressively marketing their landline, ADSL and fibre connectivity to the masses in a come back move to consolidate their position. Identifying relevance using their traditional platform the copper wire cables as a medium for connectivity, Telone can still get so much value from their already infrastructure.
The government`s ministry of ICT and courier services is also showcasing at the international stage . The MICTPS is showing their services they offer plus their prototype school computer labs with N-computing technology where one CPU powers many screens, virtually creating many computers running on a single CPU unit, hence cutting costs for most educational setups at primary levels where they do not demand hardware power to achieve their tasks
