NetOne’s Marketing Executive Juliet Ziswa has landed the 2017 MegaFest Marketer of the year award .
Ziswa, who joined NetOne last year has managed to transform NetOne’s image into a sort after mobile brand in Zimbabwe owing to a number of initiatives she and her team are working on in a bid to set NetOne on a profitable trajectory.
She is the brains behind the famous OneFusion package which has led to massive subscriber increase, making NetOne a number one mobile line priority to many, who had even kept it as a third option iver years.
Speaking after being conferred with the accolade, Ziswa said she owed the recognition to her fellow workmates and the millions of subscribers who have moved to NetOne since the OneFusion launch.

NetOne saw its active subscriber base growing by 14% last year to 4 712 410 when rivals registered a drop in numbers according to the Postal and Telecommunication Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz).
Data from Potraz showed that in 2016, NetOne added 577 690 new active subscribers, while Econet and Telecel’s numbers declined by 341 787 and 114 387 respectively.The growth in active subscribers saw NetOne’s market share increasing to 36,6% in the fourth quarter ended December 31 up from 36,4% in the previous quarter.
Econet’s market share was flat at 49,4%, while Telecel’s share dropped to 14% in the quarter from 14,2% in the previous quarter.
