Minister of ICT Postal Courier Services Hon Jenfan Muswere has continued on his whirlwind fast track trajectory launches today, 1 February in Harare seeing him going around the capital city to officially commission various ICT Labs.
The minister said that they are targeting public schools in rural, peri urban and high-density areas as most of the students in those communities can not be availed such an opportunity.
Today the 1st of February he was on another launching offensive , officially commissions 15 schools in Harare a move greatly welcome as he bootstraps the educational sector, providing a key catch them young fundamental.
The minister is not only availing laptops and computers for the ICT labs, but targeting thousands of those, to have free internet connectivity, fully paid for by the Postal and Telecommunications Regulator, Potraz.
This move will mean total connectivity and empowerment to various schools which could not have seen this dream come true even within the next decade amidst slow economic growth.
The Move will mean that Zimbabwe is now creating a better human resource base of ICT compliant populace and potential digital revolution now possible as more citizens are jumpstarted from elementary level, well versed with the digital world.
