Duties and responsibilities

• Ensure that timber is of the required quality before treatment
• Program for the treatment process as per customer requirments
•  Supervising the loading and off-loading of timber into and out of the autoclave
• Monitors the pole treatment process
• Monitors the efficient operation of the boiler
• Carries out daily, weekly and monthly maintenance of the plant as per maintenance schedules
• Generates production reports as required
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures
• Timeous and accurate filling of documents

Qualifications and experience

• Diploma in Computer sciences/ engineering or equivalent
• At least three years’ experience of working in a similar environment
• Ability to work under pressure
