GTel Zimbabwe is set to unveil its latest smartphone called X4 in Harare tonight.
This latest flagship comes hard on the heels following the unveiling of the SL8 phone in Bulawayo in April. X4’s forerunner the X3 was launched last year.

Unlike the X3 that boasted nothing but screen size, this smartphone is the best of both worlds with a masculine size and hardcore specs under the hood.
In an interview, GTel CEO Chamunorwa Shumba said the phone comes with a long battery life.
“Zimbabwe is yet to see the best smartphone ever with serious battery power to take care of all daily smartphone routines.
“We have had many nice smartphones, but what’s exciting about the next flagship is that it has serious battery power to last you days while the processor and storage will change the way humans relate to smartphones,” he said.
TechnoMag has gleaned the smartphone and while we cannot pre-empt all the details about the phone we can reveal just a few items to expect on the phone.
The new Gtel X4 comes with a cool 64 GB of local hard drive storage, so huge that one can save some movies, and download all your favourite music on the go without deleting second priority files to free some space.
Another teaser for the phone is that the smartphone has a 1, 3 GHz Octacore processor which will not freeze nor give the “please wait “notifications.
The launch will be graced by the Minister of ICT, Postal and Courier Services, Honourable Supa Mandiwanzira and top company executives.
