Probably the best feature on the phone is not our usual tech specifications but its standing out elegance. The phone  has a visible  shiny gorrilla back glass which gives it a very expensive feel.

Coming with another giant 1.7Ghz octacore processor, thus it has 8 separate processors inside the main one so to loosely translate, this new model comes with the exact similar processor power with their predecessor, the Gtel MX1.

Their new 5 inch smartphone will land on Android Kit Kat, thus 4.4 and a 13 mp back camera plus a 5MP front camera running on a 2 g ram memory chip backed by 16gb storage.

On the price tag, we could not ascertain how much the phone will cost but understand that it will be in the iPhone 5s price range hence it will most likely fetch anything not less than $900.gionee-elife-s-5.5-14

On their next flagship of the world`s thinnest smartphone, well the new Gtel will have to square it off with the current number at the same thickness, and basically rhe same specs, which is the  Gionee Elife S5.5, but this celebration may soon be short-lived as Gionee is reported have outdone itself, making another world thinnest smartphone, the  Gionee Elife S5.1 with a groundbreaking 0.2-inches thin (5.15mm)

However Vivo, another Chineese company is also reported to be Working on a smartphone that is 1.3 mm thinner than the world’s current thinnest handset as it is already packed up in 3.8 mm shell size.

We will give you live video updates from the Launch as and when it happens.
