Zimbabwe Warriors and Liverpool legend Bruce Grobbelaar has been announced as one of the recipients of the Zimbabwe Achievers Awards Chairman’s Honorary Awards set for London.
In a statement ZAA international, said the recipients will be awarded in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the Zimbabwean cause in the Diaspora as ZAA marks its 10th anniversary in London.
The legendary goalkeeper is set to be honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award along with other prominent personalities including veteran journalist Ezra Tshisa Sibanda and Shelly Cox.
This will also mark an end to the ZAA founder Conrad Mwanza reign as ZAA Chairman who will be handing over the reins to a new head after a decade at the helm of ZAA international .
The ZAA Awards were founded in 2010 to celebrate outstanding individuals who are advancing and promoting the Zimbabwean cause across the world.
This year the awards have spread their their wings to Asia with ZAA China joining the international awards brand as the seventh chapter in the ZAA bouquet.
The Zimbabwe Achievers Awards will mark their 10th anniversary with the ZAA UK Award set for The Mayfair Hotel in London next month,with the China edition set to be held virtually in October.
