Google is currently testing a “download later” feature for Chrome.


Popular internet browser Goole Chrome is working on adding a download later feature for Android which will reduce the need to use a separate download manage app.

The new feature will soon let users schedule downloads, effectively transforming the browser into a file download manager.

Currently, the Chrome for Android app has very few options to manage your downloads.

Some have to rely on download manager apps to manage your files and also for scheduling purposes.

Chrome on Android comes with very few options to manage downloads. When you select Downloads option on the menu, it shows completed downloads and downloads that are in progress.

Chrome doesn’t provide options to sort downloads by date, size, and name. You need to use download manager apps such as Free Download Manager which also provides the Scheduling option for new downloads.
According to a report from Techdows, e. Google Chrome will seemingly offer an option to download the file at a specific date and time in the future, right in the download dialog that is displayed when a download is set to begin

The new feature will let users schedule downloads.
