The founder of one of Zimbabwe`s Fastest growing and most popular technology warehouse shops, Mr Lloyd Ngwenya was recognised at the Junior Chamber International (J.C.I.) Zimbabwean awards last week held at Miekles Hotel.
Mr Ngwenya, the founder of Goltech Electronics came the first runner up at an event that recognised Zimbabwean entrepreneurship across sectors and the most outstanding youth players in the country.
The other finalists was Shephard Dube- 2nd runner up
Lloyd said he started” Goldtech electronics at the height of inflation in Zimbabwe in 2008 when even banks where not even giving out any capital loans, which was rather the toughest year for most business but managed to survive”
Goldtech electronics has been accepted by many dealers and customers as a shop in Zimbabwe that identifies itself with original electronic wares, at the backdrop of fake or imitations which have largely proliferated Zimbabwe shops.
Today Goldtech Eletronics has more than 3 major shops in Harare CBD and plans to open much more shops are in pipeline as they seek to reach out to more clients.
A big congrats for a milestone to the youthful founder as he helps to put Zim`s tech scene at the forefront.
On the same awards night, Dr Mike Joka took the JCI Zimbabwe award for pioneering Ultra corporate medical aid society and corporate 24 medical hospitals in the avenues area.
A list of top ten other entrepreneurs was also unveiled and this included Pascal Nyasha, Wellington Koke, Taizivei bvunzawabaya, Hilary Musarurwa, Shephard Dube, Gilbert Peters, Wisdom Gakaka, Takunda Chingozho,
