Free Up Space On Your Android Phone With Files Google

Managing storage on a phone is one of the most annoying tasks we have to deal with. Users are faced with questions of deciding which apps to delete, how much room it will save, and hunting down files that just aren’t needed. If you are one of the many annoyed users then this message is for you.

To share files without using mobile data or connecting to Wi-Fi, you can use peer to peer (P2P) sharing with Files by Google. This feature lets you send and receive files and apps on your device from nearby Files by Google users.

Released in 2017, the app aims to free-up space, find files fast and share files offline on your mobile phone. Some of the features include personalized suggestions about which materials to delete to make more space available and smart filters that automatically organise the files on your phone.

Share your pictures, videos, documents, or apps with others nearby who also have the app. With the fast speed of up to 480 Mbps, just pair up your phone with anyone nearby and get started.

Files by Google offline file sharing is secured with WPA2 encryption, providing a more secure file transfer. The Files App uses Bluetooth to set up encrypted and direct fast wifi connection so that you can transfer app APK or large files in seconds, send videos or pictures to your friends. Safe and secure.

If you want to keep a file forever, select it from the Files menu and back it up to Google Drive or any other cloud storage app. Save them forever without taking space on your phone.

If you run out of storage on your phone, simply transfer large files or videos to your SD card if you have one. With a few clicks, you can clean up your phone and fully use the SD card. That leaves your internal storage free and your phone faster.

Unfortunately, Files by Google app is not available for iOS users yet. This app can only be installed on Android devices. You can download the three in one app tool on Google Play.
